  • 3 p.m. Constance Gonzales, 24, 720 20th St., possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of drug paraphernalia
  • 5:40 p.m. Rodney Miller Jr. 24, Mitchell, wanted on a warrant for a probation violation
  • 7:38 p.m. Logan Walls, 24, Mitchell, driving while driver’s license suspended with a prior conviction

  • 5:22 a.m. Medical emergency in the 360 block of Grand View Road. A person was having trouble breathing
  • 6:16 a.m. Report of a dead deer in the roadway in the 540 block of State Road 58 West
  • 6:31 a.m. Report of a tree in the roadway in the 2750 block of State Road 158, west of High Water Road
  • 7:03 a.m. Fire alarm sounding at Crossroads Church. They were cooking in the kitchen and set off the alarm
  • 7:54 a.m. Traffic stop in the 3880 block of Dixie Highway. A citation was issued for speeding. The person allowed police to search his vehicle and the found a handgun. The person had an active protective order against him and the gun was seized for evidence and a report forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for review
  • 7:59 a.m. Tree limbs hanging low at State Road 58 East, east of Boyd Lane
  • 8:23 a.m. Request for animal control to the Dollar General Store on US 50 East for a stay dog
  • 8:31 a.m. Traffic stop at Mitchell and Sand Pit roads. A citation was issued for expired license plates
  • 8:36 a.m. Fire alarm sounding in the 2470 block of Fayetteville Williams Road. It was a false alarm
  • 8:49 a.m. Request for animal control to the 4090 block of Popcorn Road for feral cats

  • 3:11 p.m. 911 call reporting a bobcat with the head the size of a soccer ball at Otis Park. DNR was alerted
  • 3:17 and Washboard Road from INDOT regarding a possible oil spill. Police say there was some oil in the median but nothing pooling
  • 3:49 p.m. 911 call in the 5590 block of US 50 West. It was an accidental call
  • 3:57 p.m. Police made extra patrols in the 900 block of Lawrence Street
  • 4 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Old State Road 37
  • 4:05 p.m. Citizen assist in the 700 block of West Main Street over a dispute about a bicycle
  • 4:12 p.m. Request for animal control to the 1560 block of South Leatherwood Road for a stray dog
  • 4:24 p.m. Medical emergency in the 330 block of State Road 58 East. A person was having trouble breathing
  • 4:28 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 20 block of Meadowland Drive. Report that a 16-year-old driver has a small child chasing their vehicle. The driver stops and then pulls off again leaving the child running behind the vehicle. Police spoke to the teen who said she was babysitting and just joking around. Police also check the child who was not injured and talked to both the child and the teen’s mothers. The teen was told never to do that again

  • 4:36 p.m. Citizen assist in the 900 block of Lawrence Street about her legal rights in a marriage separation
  • 4:45 p.m. Agency assist in the 300 block of Hancock Avenue on a warrant service
  • 5 p.m. Report of a disabled vehicle at State Road 37, south of Old State Road 37. A female pulled over to use the phone
  • 5:01 p.m. Traffic light was not working at State Road 54/58 West
  • 5:07 p.m. 911 call at Stone City Pest Control. It was an accidental call
  • 5:23 p.m. Citizen assist in the 620 block of West Grissom Avenue. A male says he had people living on his property and they were evicted and they were to leave by 6 p.m. today and wants an officer to meet him there
  • 5:32 p.m. Lift assist in the 30 block of Pioneer Trails Drive
  • 5:45 p.m. Traffic stop at Wesley Chapel Road and Dixie Highway. A citation was issued for speeding
  • 6:14 p.m. A resident in the 510 block of Lafayette Avenue in Oolitic requested to speak to the town marshal about the storm drains by his house backing up
  • 6:27 p.m. Report of high water at South Leatherwood and Tunnelton roads
  • 6:33 p.m. Report of a large tree down on State Road 446, south of Blackwell trucking
  • 7:38 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 158 and State Road 37. A male was arrested
  • 8:15 p.m. Medical emergency in the 10 block of Maple Ridge Road. A person was having trouble breathing

  • 8:27 p.m. Request for animal control to the 1170 block of Camelot Courts for kittens trapped under her back porch
  • 8:46 p.m. Report of high water on South I Street, north of the bridge

  • 9:18 p.m. Medical emergency in the 610 block of West Warren Street. A female was suffering chest pains
  • 9:29 p.m. Report of high water at State Road 58 East and Old Sawmill Road
  • 9:42 p.m. Report of someone in an abandoned home in the 450 block of North 7th Street in Mitchell
  • 10:12 p.m. Report of an animal bite in the 180 block of Mills Road. The female was being treated for bite wounds to her hand and arm at IU Health Hospital

  • 2:29 a.m. Citizen assist in the 470 block of County Complex Road
  • 2:38 a.m. Traffic stop at US 50 East and Woody Farm Road
  • 2:53 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Main Street
  • 3:02 a.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 at Oolitic. The vehicle had a flat tire
  • 3:50 a.m. A resident in the 920 block of Ridgedale Drive requested to speak to an officer because someone gave his 11 and 14-year-old daughters marijuana
  • 4:40 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols in the 1000 block of Walnut Street in Oolitic. The caller thought they heard someone talking outside of their home
  • 4:59 a.m. Report of a utility wire fire in the 2780 block of Spice Valley Road.

  • 6:31 a.m. Car/deer accident on State Road 58 West near the county line
  • 1:56 p.m. Property damage accident in the 4220 block of Peerless Road. A female was on station saying her son drove into water last night
  • 5:11 p.m. Property damage accident at State Road 37 and State Road 58 East
