(BEDFORD) – Bedford North Lawrence baseball coach Jeff Callahan presented a check of $5,734 to Judy Heichelbech, president of the Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services organization.
The money was raised last week during the annual Coaches vs. Cancer baseball game at BNL High School.
The presentation of the check was made on the pitcher’s mound at BNL Field Monday evening during the BNL home game against Loogootee. The Stars shined with a 9-0 victory over the Lions at Stars Field.
