T.Y. Hilton Played With Injury In 2018 Season

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) – It was a surprisingly busy Tuesday when it came to Colts news.

The team returned to their practice facility to begin Phase 2 of their offseason program with wide receiver T.Y. Hilton admitting he played six weeks through low and high ankle sprains last season.
“My teammates needed me,” he said.
The Colts also bolstered their backfield as they signed veteran Chiefs running back Spencer Ware to a 1-year, $1.3 million deal.
Finally, the team passed along some sad news as Colts legend Gino Marchetti died on Monday at the age of 93 from pneumonia. The 11-time Pro Bowl selection was one of the star players on the Colts’ championship teams in 1958 and 1959. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1972.
