Two Injured In Rear-End Collision On 16th Street

(BEDFORD) – Two people were injured Sunday afternoon in a rear-end collision at 16th Street near E Street.


According to a Bedford Police Department accident report, 20-year-old Elli Crosby of Bedford was traveling west on 16th Street in her 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer, when she struck the rear of a 2014 Dodge Caravan driven by 62-year-old Timothy Taylor of French Lick.

Crosby told police she was distracted and struck the rear of Taylor’s van.
A witness told police Crosby’s Trailblazer was traveling faster than the posted speed limit.
Police say Crosby was not injured just upset over the accident.
Taylor complained of neck and back pain. His passenger, 71-year-old Barbara Irish of Linton, complained of neck pain. Both were taken by an AMR ambulance to IU Health Bedford Hospital for treatment.
