(UNDATED) – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources announces the first of free Free Fishing Days is Saturday, April 20.
On Free Fishing Days, Indiana residents can fish public waters without a fishing license or a salmon/trout stamp.
The DNR says Free Fishing Days are a great opportunity for families to learn to fish together.
Children 17 and younger do not need a license on any day.
Other upcoming Free Fishing Days are May 18 and June 1-2.
More information about all Free Fishing Day events can be found at dnr.IN.gov/fishfree.
