(MITCHELL) – Garlic mustard is considered one of the most destructive invasive plants in Indiana and a threat to the plant diversity at Spring Mill State Park.
The park staff will work with volunteers to rid the park of the unwanted invasive plant.
The park is staging a plant-pulling contest from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13.

And if you pull the most plants by weight, you can win a 2019 Department of Natural Resources park pass.
To join in, arrive at the pool parking lot with gloves before 9 a.m.
