Katrina Ann Pruett – Trinity Springs

Katrina Ann Pruett, 79, of Trinity Springs, passed away at her residence on Sunday, April 7, 2019.
She was born in Dover Hill on April 26, 1939, to Frank and Reva (Sims) Snodgrass. She married Charles O. Pruett on June 5, 1966, in the Dover Hill Methodist Church.
She graduated from Shoals High School, was a homemaker and a charter member of the Dover Hill Christian Union Church.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter Lorna (Dean) Troutman of Shoals; two grandchildren, Reva and Luke Troutman of Shoals and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Naomi Brassine and one brother, Vernon “Buddy” Snodgrass.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals with Pastor Mike Schlaegel officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Union Cemetery. Visitation is 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes is in entrusted with the arrangements.
Reva June Phillips – Bedford
December 21, 1934 – April 3, 2019
Reva June Phillips, 84, of Bedford, died at 3:14 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2019.
Born December 21, 1934, in Brownstown, IN, she was the daughter of Mead and Annabell (England) Shelton. She married Marlin Dean Phillips and he preceded her in death. She was the owner of the Dairy Bar and Phillips 66 gas station in Medora. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bedford.
Survivors include four daughters, Ginger East and husband, Martin, of Bedford, Vicky Phillips, and partner, Cindy Yager,
of Westford, VT, Tammy Sue McPike and husband, Jeffrey, and Cathy Ann Smith and husband, Terry, all of Medora;
eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin Dean Phillips, and one son, Roger Dean Phillips.
Private family services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 8th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Ryan East officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown.
