Indiana Public Health Association to Host Conference and Annual Meeting

(INDIANAPOLIS) – In celebration of National Public Health Week, the Indiana Public Health Association (IPHA) will host a Public Health Week Conference and Annual Meeting Apr. 3 at Purdue University.


In support of its mission to strengthen public health through partnerships, policies and professional development, the IPHA sponsored theme for this year’s conference is “Creating the Healthiest Indiana: For Science. For Action. For Health.” Attendees will hear from a panel of representatives of the Great Lakes Public Health Coalition who will discuss state-level public health policy. This year’s keynote address, The Road to Creating the Healthiest Indiana, will be given by American Public Health Association president and Indiana resident, Dr. Pamela M. Aaltonen.
