(INDIANAPOLIS) — Indianapolis International Airport is landing a farmers’ market that will give air travelers a taste of locally grown Indiana foods.
Airport officials say the Farmers’ Market, featuring Indiana Grown, will showcase foods, beverages and brands found only in Indiana.
Construction of the 3,300-square-foot market is expected to begin this year in the airport’s Concourse B. It will include a sit-down dining area where visitors can sample everything from a fresh, locally grown salad to local craft beers and wines.
Visitors will also be able to order from a full-service menu created by celebrity chef Greg Hardesty.
The Farmers’ Market will be managed by SSP America.
