(MITCHELL) – The Persimmon City Pickers will perform at the Mitchell Community Public Library on Thursday.
All musicians and music lovers are invited to come enjoy the group upstairs by the fire at 6 p.m.

At 4 p.m. Thursday, teens in grades 6-12 are invited to Teens and Tech at the library.
Come explore the world of drones or try your hand at some coding and practice your piloting skills. Teens and Tech at the library are possible thanks to a grant from the Lawrence County Community Foundation and GM Foundation grant.
Summer Reading Fun sign-ups will be from May 27 through June 7 this year.
Stop in and sign up to participate by reading for prizes, but also pick up a program guide to all the fun activities on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 2 p.m.
The theme this year is “Universe of Stories” and activities will range from making a planetarium in the library to writing stories and making your own constellation.
