(MARTINSVILLE) – Today the far right lane of southbound State Road 37 will be closed from just south of Morgan Street to just north of State Road 44.
State Road 37 is three lanes at this point, and only the far right lane will be impacted. Two through lanes will remain open to traffic. The lane restriction will be lifted by 7 p.m.
Crews will be unloading and staging tree cutting equipment and begin clearing operations west of State Road 37 between Morgan Street and State Road 44. Motorists should be aware of the lane restriction and truck traffic in the area and are urged to keep their attention on the roadway.
