  • 1:42 p.m. Steven Chestnut, 58, Mitchell, wanted on two warrants for failure to appear
  • 8:01 p.m. Christopher Conrad, 37, Bradenton, Fl., arson, domestic battery, strangulation, intimidation, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

  • 7:37 a.m. Report of a suspicious person at South 9th and West Frank streets behind the dumpster. Police checked the area and were unable to locate anyone
  • 8:09 a.m. Traffic stop at Otis Park and Tunnelton roads. Tonda Nichols, 62, Bedford, was issued a citation for speeding
  • 6:26 a.m. Follow-up investigation in the 5320 block of State Road 158. An item was dropped off

  • 11:25 a.m. Controlled fire in the 1200 block of South Leatherwood Road
  • 11:56 a.m. Controlled fire in the 1000 block of McFadden Ridge Road

  • 2:43 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Dixie Highway. A citation was issued for speeding
  • 2:55 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Wesley Chapel Road
  • 3:17 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 130 block of Burton Street in Mitchell. The caller says her boyfriend has not seen or talked to his son for more than a month and the mother and father have no contact orders in place. The child is in Florida with his mother
  • 4:10 p.m. Report of an erratic driver on Brick Street northbound from State Road 54
  • 4:29 p.m. Domestic fight in the 460 block of East Vine Street. The caller says her daughter is screaming and throwing items inside the home and attempting to leave in a small silver vehicle. The mother did not want to file charges
  • 4:31 p.m. A male is on station to report the theft of a 2008 Honda Forman 4-wheeler, camo in color. The theft occurred within the last three months. The male lives out of state
  • 4:37 p.m. Repossession of a vehicle in the 2130 block of Avoca Eureka Road
  • 4:50 p.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 and Main Street
  • 5 p.m. County-wide volunteer fire department radio test
  • 5:25 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 1580 block of Wesley Chapel Road. It was a false alarm:
  • 5:39 p.m. Repossession of a vehicle in the 9820 block of Weaver Road
  • 4:47 p.m. Request for animal control to the 2880 block of Earl Road for a dog running loose
  • 6:43 p.m. A resident in the 930 block of Tulip Street reported finding a suitcase in their front yard. It was thrown away
  • 6:48 p.m. Medical emergency in the 300 block of Shawnee Lane. An elderly male was having trouble breathing
  • 7:13 p.m. Domestic fight in the 660 block of Lower Leesville Road. A male says his ex-wife called him saying a male walked into their home and started fighting with her. The male left in a black Dodge Nitro before police arrived
  • 7:29 p.m. A resident in the 1500 block of Hancock Avenue reported her 20-year-old son left yesterday afternoon and has not been heard from since. She had attempted to call and text him several times and he will not answer. He was last seen at SteelTech leaving work around 5 p.m. and did not leave in his vehicle. His phone pinged in the Paoli area. Police have yet to locate the male
  • 7:40 p.m Traffic stop in the 4910 block of US 50 East. Adrian Prince, 34, Bedford, was cited for speeding
  • 8:05 p.m. Report of a flue fire at 2550 Ramsey Ridge Road. Everyone was out of the home. Shawswick and Pleasant Run Volunteer Fire Department responded
  • 8:20 p.m. Lift assist in the 1920 block of Plaza Drive. IU Health ambulance responded
  • 8:25 p.m. Medical emergency in the 990 block of WPA Road. A person was having a diabetic issue
  • 8:27 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 540 block of State Road 58 West
  • 10:21 p.m. House check in the 350 block of Humpback Bridge Road. Nothing appeared to have been tampered with at the home. All doors were secured and no unauthorized vehicles were found.
  • 11:02 p.m. Report of a suspicious person at Orchard and South 11th streets reporting two people with hoodies on are underneath the shelter house at the park. The two were just getting out of the rain
  • 11:21 p.m. 911 call reporting the power is out at Cambridge Square apartments

Incidents – March 25

  • 12:28 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 600 block of 9th Street in Oolitic. A male says he received a call from a previous employee saying she has broken her leg and not sure she can move. Police made contact with the female who had been drinking and hurt her ankle on her apartment staircase. She declined to go to the hospital
  • 1:09 a.m. 911 call from the 930 block of Sieboldt Quarry Road. There was nothing but static on the line. The entrance to the quarry was secure

  • 9:13 p.m. Car/deer accident on State Road 60 East and VFW Road
