(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) – The Colts will host a pair of free agents today as NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the team will visit with running back Jay Ajayi and linebacker Aaron Lynch.
Ajayi has been scheduled to meet with the Colts for over a week but will finally do so today. The former Philadelphia Eagle is recovering from a torn ACL.
Meanwhile, Lynch, the former Bear, is making Indianapolis his third stop this week as he’s already met with the Seahawks and Raiders. Former Colts safety Clayton Geathers continued to make the rounds as he met with the Cowboys on Monday and the Buccaneers on Tuesday.
Finally, the Colts announced that exclusive rights free agent long snapper Luke Rhodes signed his tender. An exclusive rights free agent meant Rhodes could either sign the tender and play for the Colts in 2019 or sit out the whole season and not play for anyone. He optioned for Door No. 1.
