Tournament Bids Unveiled For Indiana Teams

(UNDATED) – The bracket was unveiled and Purdue is headed to the dance as the Boilermakers were named a No. 3 seed in the South region.


They’ll open up against 14th seed Old Dominion on Thursday night in Hartford, Connecticut.
Purdue will try to rebound from a stunning loss to Minnesota in the quarterfinal of the Big Ten Tournament but face an Old Dominion squad that 10 wins in their final 12 games.
Top seeds in the NCAA Tournament saw Zion Williamson and the Duke Blue Devils take the top overall seed. The rest of the No. 1’s were Gonzaga, North Carolina and Virginia.
Not making the NCAA Tournament were Indiana and Butler but both teams earned NIT bids.
The Hoosiers drew a No. 1 seed and will face 8th-seeded St. Francis on Tuesday night in Bloomington.
For the Bulldogs, they drew a fifth seed and will visit No. 4 Nebraska on Wednesday night.
Finally, IUPUI will take on Marshall in the first round of the CIT on Tuesday night in Huntington, West Virginia.
