(WASHINGTON) – The Daviess County Community Foundation has awarded a $22,500 grant to the Washington Carnegie Library to support the continuation of the facility’s out-of-school STEM program.
Foundation officials say the funding and program will enhance economic and community growth.
The library’s afterschool STEM initiative serves 150 students, with a waiting list in place.
The grant will support the program through March of next year.
