Two Loogootee Residents Arrested on Drug Charges

(LOOGOOTEE) – The Washington Police Department released details on a drug arrest that happened near Loogootee Junior/Senior High School Monday.


Police arrested 60-year-old James Cunnington and 58-year-old Georgia Cunningham on charges of dealing and possession of meth and maintaining a common nuisance.
Officers secured a search warrant for 508 Butcher Boulevard in Loogootee just across from the Junior/Senior High School. During the search, police seized 133 grams of meth, pills, marijuana, six handguns, and 21 long guns.
Assisting in the search and arrest were deputies with the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police trooper and the DEA Task Force.
