Two People Injured, Two Arrested After Accident On John Williams Boulevard

(BEDFORD) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on John Williams Boulevard near O Street Saturday afternoon.


Bedford Police officers responded to the crash at 3:09 p.m.
According to police, 57-year-old Leah Brinegar of Bedford was traveling west on John Williams Boulevard near the intersection of O Street. She told police as she crossed through the intersection a 1999 Buick LeSabre Limited struck her driver’s side door and the quarter panel of her 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
17-year-old Arnold Clayton, also of Bedford, was traveling north on O Street and told police he was crossing John Williams Boulevard and did not see Brinegar’s Jeep and struck the vehicle with his bumper.
Brinegar complained of neck pain but refused to be transported to a local hospital and said she would seek medical treatment at her discretion.
Clayton suffered a minor laceration on his forehead and was treated at the scene.
Clayton and his passenger 18-year-old Blake Martinez, also of Bedford, were arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
