James Hammond Trinkle, 40, of Bloomington, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018, in Bloomington, Indiana.
Born February 17, 1978, in Lexington, Kentucky, he was the son of James G. Trinkle and Dinah B. (Hammond) Goodin.
James enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports, music, college football, and basketball, and was an avid Indy 500 fan.
Survivors include his mother, Dinah B. (George) Goodin; father, James G. (Linda) Trinkle; sister, Olivia (Tommy) Zajac; nephews, Vincent, and Henry Zajac; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes with Father Rick Eldred and Deacon Dave Reising officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Orleans. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour Friday at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness or Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard, Bloomington.
