Anna Mae Henderson – Bedford
October 31, 1930 – August 10, 2016
Anna Mae Henderson, 85, of Bedford, died at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at Garden Villa Nursing and Rehabilitation, Bedford.
Born October 31, 1930, in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Francis S. and Hazel (Ritchey) Daugherty.
She married Elmer “Buster” Henderson, Jr. on January 21, 1949; he died July 14, 2003.
Anna Mae worked at GM Powertrain, Bedford, for 33 years and was retired. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Bedford, and was an avid Bingo player.
Surviving are two sons, Gregory (Pam) Henderson, Williams, and Larry (Debbie) Henderson, FL; two daughters, Lisa Mullinax, Bloomington and Theresa (Dale) Grimitt, Indianapolis; five grandchildren Shannon and Landon Henderson, Tyson (Jillianne)Hillenburg, Page Mullinax and Katlain Henderson; one brother, David Daugherty; one sister, Mary Cassidy; and special friends, Cheri Holmes and her husband Eric and their children Cruz, C’Aire and Celina. Who helped in her caregiving.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Karen; two brothers,Wayne and George Daugherty; three sisters, Betty Barlow, Jeanette Poff and Sharon Banks; and one grandson, Jeremy Henderson.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2016, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Rick Eldred and Deacon Dave Reising officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemeter, Bedford.
Friends may call on Friday from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Friday at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.

Betty Jean Goodman, 83, of Bedford, died at 1:56 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at her residence.
Born January 22, 1933, in Gibbs, KY, she was the daughter of Cecil and Eva (Colyer) Sasser. She retired as a reading tutor after over twenty years. She was a member of the Oolitic Trinity Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Hassler and husband, Don, of Bedford; a granddaughter, Angel Hawkins and husband, Heath, of Bedford; a grandson, John Wolff of Bedford; a brother, Alben Sasser and wife, Jonna, of Bedford; a brother-in- law, Ken Arthur, of Bedford; two nephews, Scott Sasser and Adam Sasser and wife, Dana, all of Bedford; several great nieces, nephews and cousins; her loving caregivers, Sandy Phillips, Alma Lynn, and Lori Lynn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Tracy Wolff; a sister, Alma Arthur.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 12th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Marty Speer officiating. Burial will follow in Hilltop Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m.to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 11th and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday, August 12th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
