Walter W. McCune – Mitchell
Walter W. McCune, 98, formerly of Huron, passed away at 5:55 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013, at IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Chastain Funeral Home.
Elsie M. Harvey – Mitchell
Elsie M. Harvey, 89, passed away at 4 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born April 2, 1923, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Jesse and Georgia (Henderson) White. She married John H. Harvey, August 6, 1938, and he preceded her in death April 26, 1991. Elsie had been employed at Roberts Brass. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, and an avid bowler.
Survivors include her daughter, Rhea Dawn Morgan, of Mitchell; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; children, Gary Wayne Harvey and Anna Louise Newlin and sister, Marie Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 3, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Rev. Bill Graham officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 12:30 p.m. until the service on Sunday at the funeral home.

David William Otstot – Oolitic
David William Otstot, 56, of Oolitic, passed away Sunday, January 27th, 2013, due to heart failure.
He was born May 21, 1956 in San Fernando, CA to Harold and Evelyn Otstot, both deceased. He spent his childhood in Saugus, CA. David joined the United States Army at 17, and was honorably discharged three years later. He worked in assembly for General Motors in Van Nuys, CA before moving to Indiana, where he continued to work for GM in their foundry. He retired from GM after 30 years of service. David played guitar and bass guitar from childhood forward. He was part of many bands, most recently Second Helpin’.
David is survived by his wife, Mandy Otstot; son, Curtis Otstot; granddaughter, Maggie Otstot; siblings, Kathy Taylor, Christine Day, Jeffrey Otstot, and Kevin Otstot; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, band members and friends.
Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Bedford. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home and on Saturday from 11:00 a.m until the service hour. A reception will follow services at the home of David Otstot.

Delores Jeanette Lee – Bedford
Delores Jeanette Lee, 79, of Bedford, passed away at 9:30 am on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bedford.
Born December 22, 1933 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Edgar Carl and Anna Mae (Webb) Fowler. She married Robert E. Lee in 1951 and he survives. She retired from RCA in Bloomington.
Survivors include her husband, Robert, of Bedford; three sons, Gary Lee and wife, Gail and Steve Lee and wife, Mary, all of Bedford, Larry Lee and wife, Charlotte, of Avoca; five granddaughters, Maria, Cayla and Jackie Lee, Tonia and husband Josh Cummings and Jennifer and husband Brian Tieke; two grandsons, Joe and Robbie Lee; several great grandchildren; one brother, Jack Fowler and wife, Barbara, of Jeffersonville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, June New.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm on Monday, February 4th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery in Avoca. Visitation will be from 11 am until the hour of service on Monday, February 4th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
