Patty Phelix – Bedford
Patty Phelix, 63, of Bedford, passed away, Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at 10:45 p.m. at her home.
Born on October 17, 1949 in Massena, NY, she was the daughter of Irving Paige and Cora “Josie” (LaDue) Paige. She married Ronald Phelix on June 27, 1970; and he survives. She worked for the food service at Central Foundry in Bedford. She attended St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Bedford.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Phelix; son, Ronald “Ronnie” Phelix; daughter, JoEllen Phelix and her companion, John Peters; five grandchildren, Chelsey Phelix, Cainin Behringer, Brenna Phelix, Nathan Majkowski and Ashton Peters; one great-granddaughter, Gabriela Poveda; one brother, Brad (Brenda) Paige; four sisters, Lynda and husband Pau Paige, Deborah Murray and companion Teddy Mitchell, Nancy and husband Scott Hamilton, and Norma and husband Frank Bregg; mother-in-law, Agnes Phelix; and brother-in-law, Arthur Phelix.
She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Mary Campbell.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 26, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Bedford. There will be no funeral service in Bedford.
Donations may be made to Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospice, 619 W. 1st Street, Bloomington, IN.

Jerry D. Beasley – Bloomington

Jerry D. Beasley age 71 of Bloomington, formerly of Bedford passed away on Wednesday January 23, 2013 at 11:47 pm at White River Lodge in Bedford.
Jerry was born on February 10, 1941 in Lawrence County to Raymond & Glena (Waskom) Beasley, Jerry married Ruth Ann Gaddis on June 29, 1963 in Lawrence County and she survives. He retired from GE in Bloomington where he was a service worker. He also ran a Fireworks Outlet in Bedford and attended Bedford High School. He was a member of the member of IBEW #2249 Bloomington. His hobbies included deer hunting, fishing, attending flea markets and yard sales and he was a collector of license plates from all over the world.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth A. Beasley of Bloomington, one daughter, Joy (Bobby) Finley-Johnson of Spencer; two sons; Aaron Beasley and wife Bethany, of Odon, Kelley Beasley and wife Mindy, of Bedford; two brothers, Gary Beasley and wife Ruthellen, of Bedford and Ray Beasley and wife Doris, of Clay City; one sister, LaDonna and husband Eddie Conway, of Williams; grandchildren, Ajay, Amy and Taryn Beasley, Jessica Johnson, Willy “Rainbo” Ronk, Dusty Stover, Sammy Trosper, Shylie Finley, and Kearsten Pollard; great grandchildren, Aubrey Beasley, Laela and Arianna Ronk; and one expectant great grandchild; daughter-in-law Kitty Walker, of Bedford, son-in-law Jeff Finley, of Bedford; sister-in-law Donnetta Duncan, of Bedford; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents, one daughter, Joyce Beasley, two brothers, his twin Larry Beasley and Freddie Beasley, one sister, Penny Beasley Bennett.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday January 28, 2013 at 6 pm with Celebration of life by Perry Tom East at Cresthaven Funeral Home in Bedford. Friends may call from 2 pm until service time at 6 pm at Cresthaven Funeral Home.
