Abigail Lynn Decker – Plainfield
Abigail Lynn Decker, 13, Plainfield, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011.
She was a student at Avon Middle School North and a member of Chapel Rock Christian Church.
Survivors include her parents, Chad and Kristie (Bennett) Decker, of Plainfield; sister, Megan Decker, of Plainfield; grandparents, Leon and Patricia Bennett, of Mitchell, Connie Jenkins, of Mitchell, Tucker Decker, of Mitchell; great grandparents, Vivian Decker, of Silver Springs, Florida, Maxine and Chester Batchelor, of Mitchell
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Oris and Purlene Bennett, and Charles and Priscilla Mann,
Graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, at Mitchell Cemetery.

Larry Ray Walker Sr., – Indianapolis
Larry Ray Walker, Sr., 62, of Indianapolis, passed away at 4:27 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011, at his residence.
Born September 6, 1949, in Terre Haute, he was the son of Marcus D. and Ruth V. (Bruner) Walker.
He retired from Horner Electric in Indianapolis and had been employed at Jack’s Lounge and Dana Corporation. He was a U.S. veteran of the Marine Corps and a member of American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
Survivors include his children, Melissa and her husband Kevin New, of Mitchell, Larry R. Walker, Jr., of Mitchell, Maria and her husband Travis King, of Mitchell, Jennifer and her husband Marcos Nevarez, of Arizona; brother, Jeffery and his wife Vicki Walker, of Waldron; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William Walker and Darrell Walker; and sister, Patricia Remaly,
Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107 at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at Haverly Chapel.

Carol R. Kinser – Springville
Carol R. Kinser, 75, of Springville, died Thursday at 1:25 p.m. at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born Feb. 4, 1936 in Bedford, she is the daughter of Thomas and Grace (Clendenin ) Coulter. She married Phillip Kinser on April 29, 1966 and he survives.
She retired from RCA after more than 20 years and attended Shawswick High School. She was a member of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are her husband Phillip Kinser, of Springville; two daughters, Trena Burks, of Bedford and Brandy Kinser, of Bedford; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; three sisters, Bonnie Isom, of Bedford, Vickie Cooper, of Bedford and Sylvia Bundy, of Indiana; one brother, Orville Coulter, of Bedford; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Brewer; one daughter, Debra Brewer; one grandson Damon Hobson.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Gary Burks officiating. Burial will be in Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Mildred M. Butcher – Bedford
Mildred M. Butcher, 86, of Farmer Street in Bedford, died at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2011, at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.
Born September 2, 1925, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of John and Vinia (Lee) Eagans. She married Herman L. Butcher Sr. in 1946 and he survives. She was a production worker for RCA and attended the East Oolitic General Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Herman Butcher Sr., of Bedford; children, Herman Butcher Jr., of Bloomington, Rosalee “Sis” Chandler, of Bedford, Wade Jones and wife Jennifer, of Mitchell; grandchildren Steve, Tim and wife Misty, Brandon and wife Christy, Erica, Christopher and Tyler Butcher, Andrew Jones, Mathew Jones, Alex Flynn, Joshua Jones and Elise Jones; five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Kelsi, Woodrow, Joe and Claude Eagans, one sister Bernice (in infancy).
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, December 19th, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Millard Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery.

Eva Bell Meadows – Bedford
Eva Bell Meadows, 98, of Bedford, passed away at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2011 at Garden Villa.
Born February 24, 1913 in Standford, Ky. She was the daughter of William Thomas and Mattie May (Bell) Breedlove. She first married Clyde Milton Burgess. She then married Leonard (Mac) Meadows on June 16, 1957 and he preceded her in death on June 14, 1981. She was retired from M. Fine & Sons.
Survivors include two daughters, Malinda Sue Delphia and Mary Bee Ray, both of Bedford; three grandchildren, Claudelle Livingston, of Greenwood, Pamela Squire, of Groveland, Fl.; Shaun Dale Ray of Louisville; three great grandchildren, Brandy Peach, of Ohio, Zack Peach and Shandelle Peach, both of Florida; one great great grandson, Clayton Lee James Moffitt, of Ohio; one brother, Edward Thomas Breedlove, of Hodgenville, Ky.
She is preceded in death by both husbands, her parents, four brothers, Raymond, Earnest, Homer, and Robert Breedlove; five sisters, Bertha Paynter, Rosie La Walters, Mary Breedlove, Maggie May Walters and Ethel Clemens.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 19, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Monday.
