Anabel Williams of Williams passed away yesterday afternoon at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 94.
Born in 1914 in Lawrence County to James and Elon Embree, Anabel was a homemaker and gardener, and member of the Church of Christ, African Violet Club, Lawrence County Rock Club, Williams Home Demonstration Club and leader for 4-H.
She is survived by her daughter Sherry, sons Richard and David, brother Frank, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 4 sisters and 1 grandson.
Services will be held Saturday morning at 10:00am at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in Williams.
Visitation will be tomorrow from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Ferguson-Lee.
