Russell O. Chandler of Bedford passed away at Bloomington Hospital at the age of 64.
Born in 1943 in Lawrence County to Elza and Beatrice Chandler, Russell was an employee of RCA in Bloomington and worked as a mechanic at his own garage, then went into construction and remodeling, becoming president of the board for Kenray Lake.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn, son A.J., daughters Marla and Tammy, sisters Jeannette, Marsha and Ginny, 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Arnold.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:00pm at Pinhook Cemetery with burial to follow.
Visitation will be tomorrow from 10:00am until 12:30pm at Day & Carter Mortuary.
