Charlestown Principal Facing Drunken Driving Charges

(CHARLESTOWN) -The principal at Charlestown High School in Charlestown is facing drunken driving charges after he was arrested Sunday night in Floyd County.

54-year-old Keith Hedges of Jeffersonville, met with Dr. Stephen Daeschner, superintendent Greater Clark County Schools, Tuesday morning about the misdemeanor OWI charge.

GCCS sent the following statement: "It's a personnel matter and Greater Clark County Schools has no further comment."

Hedges has been the principal at Charlestown High School for three years and has been employed with Greater Clark County Schools since 1995.
