Missing Gary Man Found Dead

(GARY, IN) - Authorities say a Gary man missing since his dialysis treatment nearly a week ago was found dead Tuesday in an apparent car crash.

Police canvassing the area discovered the body of 30-year-old Antoine Newman at the bottom of a steep embankment.

Newman's body was lying nearly 30 feet from the sport-utility vehicle he'd been driving.

Police say the accident site is in a sparsely populated area north of Interstate 94 and west of Martin Luther King Drive in Gary.
