Man Sentenced 175 Years For Motel Murder

(MERRILLVILLE, IN) - A Hammond man has been sentenced to 175 years in prison for murder and attempted murder in a 2007 shooting at a Merrillville Motel.
26-year-old Pierre Taylor was convicted of opening fire December 29, 2007, on seven people in the motel elevator following an argument. 20-year-old John Boyd was killed.
