Analysis Shows Top 35 CEO's Were Overpaid 129 Times

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - A Purdue Chemical Engineering Professor says his new theoretical analysis suggests the top 35 Chief Executive Officers in fortune 500 companies were overpaid by approximately 129 times their “ideal salaries” in 2008.
Venkat Venkatasubramanian is taking a measurement used in thermodynamics and uncertainty in information theory and applying it to economics to establish a measure of "fairness" for CEO salaries.
