Man In Custody After Attacking His Grandma With A Stun Gun

(MONROVIA, IN) - A Morgan County man is in custody after allegedly using a stun gun to shock his elderly grandmother.

Police say 38-year old Rick Dildine used a stun gun to shock his 80-year old grandmother Edna Dildine nearly 100 times all over her body in her Monrovia home.

Rick Dildine was on house arrest for prior charges. He told police he has been stressed about cut time at work and a loss of income.

Dildine told police he was drunk and high on pain pills as he came home September 14th and attacked his grandmother for three hours.

He's been charged with battery and criminal confinement and intimidation in Morgan County.
