(UNDATED) - An Indiana Gaming Commission Investigator is facing several criminal charges in connection with counterfeit money.

Police launched an investigation in September of 2008 after 46-year-old Troy Knorr of Columbus was spotted faxing a fake $20 bill at Wolf Theaters in Greensburg.

Theater employees called police to investigate suspicious activity.

Indiana State Police Sergeant Noel Houze says Knorr didn't make the fake money, but accuses him of stealing counterfeit $20 bills from evidence storage at the Belterra Casino in Switzerland County.
