Lake County Reviewing Death Penalty For 2-Year-Old Murderers

(CROWN POINT) - The Lake County prosecutor says his office is undertaking a death penalty review against two defendants charged with the murder of two-year-old Jada Justice.
18-year-old Engelica Castillo and her 24-year-old boyfriend, Tim tkachick, were arrested last week in connection with the portage toddler's death.
Investigators say jada died after a beating administered by castillo.
Tkachik allegedly helped his girfriend dispose of the body in a LaPorte County swamp.
