Duke Energy Files Plans For Carbon Dioxide Storage

(EDWARDSPORT) - Duke Energy has filed plans with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission for a proposed carbon dioxide storage project in Southwest Indiana.

The company wants to invest 121-million dollars to study permanent underground storage of a portion of the carbon dioxide emissions from its Edwardsport coal gasification power plant under construction.
