College Representatives Learning How To Help Veterans With GI Bill
Last updated on Thursday, July 02, 2009
(INDIANAPOLIS) - Representatives from 19 Indiana colleges and universities are learning how to help veterans receive access to the education benefits of the post 9/11 GI Bill.
The original Montgomery GI Bill provided matching funds for a veteran's education, but the new post 9/11 GI Bill provides benefits based upon the length of service.
Buyer says under the new bill, unused benefits are also transferable to a spouse or child.
