General Assembly Session Over Gambling

(STATEHOUSE) - The General Assembly’s special session has gotten underway with a renewed battle over gambling.
Gary representative Charlie Brown plans to introduce an amendment to move one of the city's two Lake Michigan casino licenses inland, where he says business would be sharply better.
At least four other gambling proposals have been circulating.
