Former Puppy Mill Owners Facing Tax Charges

(MAUCKPORT) - A Harrison County mother and daughter accused of selling sick dogs now face tax evasion charges.
Investigators say 63-year-old Virginia Garwood and her 26-year-old daughter were operating a puppy mill from their Mauckport farm.
Their business has been shutdown and more than 240 dogs are being adopted or put into foster care.
