(UNDATED) - All along the historic national road, US Highway 40, businesses and individuals are setting out their antiques, fresh produce and other treasures.

It's the 6th annual dawn to dusk yard sale, 824 miles of bargains from Baltimore to St. Louis.

The sale starts Wednesday, May 27th, and runs through Sunday, May 31st.

The 157 mile stretch through Indiana is also known as antique alley.

Construction of the national road began 203 years ago.

Sale Organizer Patricia Mcdaniel, an antique dealer from Dublin, Indiana says shoppers might also bring home some prize stories told by sellers proud of their homes and communities.

Anyone who needs information or wants to donate a door prize can call (765) 478-4809 or log on to info@oldstorefrontantiques.com.
