Indiana Live! Opens In Shelbyville Tonight
(SHELBYVILLE) - Indiana Live! Casino is set to open its permanent facility this evening in Shelbyville.
Promoters say Live! Casino has a Vegas attitude with an Indiana address.
General Manager Mark Hemmerle thinks visitors will be impressed by the facility's size, design and finishing touches.
Despite the downturn economy, Hemmerle expects business at the casino about 20 minutes east of Indianapolis to be bright.
He believes the facility's restaurants and nightlife will attract customers interested in entertainment options other than gambling.
The permanent facility has 2,000 slot machines, including electronic blackjack, roulette and three-card poker machines.
The doors open at 6:30 PM. From then on, it will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to visitors age 21 and older.
