Hoosier Solider To Be Laid To Rest

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Funeral services for a fallen army soldier will be held Friday in Indianapolis.
21-year-old Corporal Zachary Nordmeyer was killed during battle in Balad, Iraq. Nordmeyer was a 2007 graduate of Ben Davis High School.
Services are being held at 1pm in Lakeview Church in Indianapolis.
Nordmeyer was the first of two Central Indiana servicemen to be killed within a week. 21-year-old Marine Corporal Donte Whitworth of Noblesville was killed in a traffic accident Saturday west of Baghdad.
Whitworth was set to come home for a visit later this month. His service arrangements have not been made.
