Anderson Man Pleads Guilty To Abducting Attorney

(ANDERSON) - An Anderson man faces up to 50 years in prison for abducting his attorney at knifepoint.
Richard Hudson is scheduled to be sentenced in February after pleading guilty but mentally ill to kidnapping and armed robbery, charges stemming from the abduction of Attorney Thomas Hamer in July.
By pleading guilty but mentally ill, Hudson will be able to receive mental health treatment in prison.
