Man Arrested On Fraud Charges

(UNION CITY) - A Gaston man has been arrested on home-improvement-fraud charges.
28-year-old John Stanley was arrested by Union City police after a senior citizen reported three men had offered to clean her gutters for 10 dollars and then asked for up to 200 dollars to repair damage they claimed to have found on her roof.
Authorities say Stanley did not have a vendor's permit or contractor's license.
Stanley is also wanted on warrants issued in Wayne, Madison and Delaware counties.
