As Temperatures Drop, Energy Costs Rise This Fall

(UNDATED) - You’re electric bills will be higher this fall. Most Hoosier homeowners can expect to see as much as a 21 percent jump as temperatures drop.
Bruce graham is CEO of the Indiana Statewide Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives. He says the problem extends beyond state borders and is based directly on the cost of fuel.
Graham says Indiana electric cooperatives support renewable energy from wind and other sources. He's meeting with industry leaders this week to discuss rate hikes and possible solutions to the energy crisis.
