Newphew Could "Handle" Beer, Says Man

(MUNCIE) - An Indiana man is facing several charges after giving his one year-old nephew beer.
Authorities arrested 44-year-old Richard Valens Junior on charges of neglect of a dependent, domestic battery and auto theft.
According to court documents, Valens' girlfriend argued with him about giving the child beer. Valens punched her and then took off with her SUV.
According to police, Valens told his girlfriend the child could quote -- "handle it.
He remains in a Delaware County Jail.
