(GREENFIELD) - The Buck Creek Township fire station in Greenfield received the keys to a custom-made ladder fire truck courtesy of the Indianapolis International Airport.

The truck will eventually find its home at the new fire station currently under construction at the Mount Comfort Airport.

Fire Chief David Sutherlin says the facility new station and truck will greatly improve their response and ability to service the growing industrial community in and around Greenfield. Sutherlin says the truck is a blessing because it comes at no cost to local taxpayers.

The new firehouse is expected to be completed by later winter of 2009.
