(NOBLESVILLE) - An internet sting in Hamilton County nets three arrests.

Two of the men solicited what they thought were young girls over the internet. When they went to meet up, the "girls" turned out to be undercover officers. A third man was charged with possessing child pornography.

In a twist, one of the men charged with solicitation is already a convicted sex offender. 40-year-old Thomas Nickels is on the Indiana sex offender registry.

Fishers Police Sergeant Gerry Hepp says the arrests came from the fledgling Hamilton County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC).

Hepp says they hope these arrests will provide parents with a reminder to be mindful of what their kids do on the internet.
