Trustees Opt Out Of Same Sex Benefits Vote

(EVANSVILLE) - The University of Southern Indiana board of trustees decided not to vote on a resolution that would have extended employment benefits to same-sex domestic partners.
University President Ray Hoops had submitted a resolution to the board for a vote on Saturday. However, trustee Ted Ziemer Jr. asked that the item be removed from consideration.
