Indy Mayor To Drive Hybrid; Promote Savings

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Rising gas prices affect everyone and many are finding ways to save money. The city of Indianapolis is joining the fray as well.
Mayor's spokesman Marcus Barlow says the city is looking into lessening the time city vehicles idle and also inquiring about purchasing hybrid vehicles. He says Mayor Greg Ballard is in the process of finding a hybrid vehicle to drive.
Barlow says the moves will not only save money, but help the environment as well.
