Former Indy Mayor To Teach At Ball State

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Another new job for former Mayor Bart Peterson. This fall, he’ll be teaching political science at the Ball State - Indianapolis campus.
Peterson has spent the last few months doing a fellowship at Harvard and working with students interested in getting into politics.
Peterson says while there is only so much you can teach the future leaders of the city, state, and country, he does feel like he can impart some real-life lessons to students.
During his Harvard stint, Peterson used the Colts' new stadium deal as a case-study of how legislative powers work at the local and state level. In the spring, Peterson will begin teaching at the Muncie campus.
