Charges Forthcoming In Student-Teacher Relationship Trial
(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Warren Township teacher accused of having sex with a student will hear the formal charges against her Friday morning.
Sheila Vazquez is accused of having a relationship with one of her 15-year-old students. Marion County Chief Deputy Prosecutor David Wyser says the 36-year-old allegedly kissed and fondled the boy. She is also accused of having sex with him during a lunch break.
The boy is an eighth-grader at The Renaissance School.
Court papers show the relationship came out earlier this month when the boy was approached about an end-of-the-year field trip to Kings Island.
