Tourism Dept. Hopes Hoosiers Explore Indiana Since Gas So Expensive
(UNDATED) - With the price of gas, state tourism officials are hoping Hoosiers will look to home for summer vacations and getaways.
Curt Brantingham with the state Department of Tourism says there is something for everyone regardless of the interest.
The tourism department is known for their tourism and festival guides printed annually.
Brantingham says the department has revamped their website and has plans to do even more, including providing information for people to be their own travel agent and custom design their Indiana trip. Information on Indiana destinations and the guide book order forms are available at visitindiana.com.
