Correctional Officer Arrested On Drug Charges

(PENDLETON) - State police from the Pendleton District have arrested a correctional officer from the Pendleton Correctional Facility on drug charges.

State police say 164 grams of marijuana were located by K-9 officer "Colt" in the vehicle of Correctional Officer Tracy McGrady at a CVS Pharmacy in Fortville.

McGrady was taken into custody there and another search warrant was issued for McGrady's home, and another 15 bundles of marijuana and another controlled substance were found.

In the end, Officer McGrady was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute, possession of more than 30 grams of pot, official misconduct and bribery.
